Prepared 1 January 2026 · Last reviewed 1 January 2026
1. Scope & Organizational Commitment
This accessibility statement applies to the digital services published on the domains www.codfleet.com, www.codfleet.fi, www.codfleet.eu, www.codgo.fi, www.codgo.eu, www.codorbis.com and www.codorbis.eu, and its associated official web applications and mobile platforms operated by CODFleet (Business ID: 3613089-4). This statement does not apply to third-party domains or external services linked from our platforms that maintain independent accessibility policies.
At CODFleet, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including persons with disabilities, sensorimotor impairments, or visual/hearing limitations. We continuously work to improve the overall user experience for everyone, striving to ensure full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA - Directive EU 2019/882), the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), and the Finnish Act on Accessibility Requirements for Certain Products (102/2023).
2. Compliance Status & WCAG Benchmark
Our digital services have been evaluated against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 / 2.2, Level AA technical standards (aligned with European Harmonised Standard EN 301 549). Based on internal self-assessment, www.codfleet.com, www.codfleet.fi, www.codfleet.eu, www.codgo.fi, www.codgo.eu, www.codorbis.com and www.codorbis.eu is currently partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 Level AA standards due to the non-accessible content and technical exemptions specified below.
| Regulatory Standard | Applicable Level | Current Compliance Status |
|---|---|---|
| WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 Guidelines | Level A & Level AA (EN 301 549) | Partially Compliant |
| Finnish Digital Services Act (306/2019) | Chapter 3 & 3a Requirements | Partially Compliant |
| European Accessibility Act (EU 2019/882) | Section I & III Annex I Standards | In Implementation Phase |
3. Non-Accessible Content & Technical Known Issues
Despite ongoing remediation, the following content or features do not fully conform to the accessibility requirements:
- Keyboard Navigation & Focus Indicators: Certain interactive control elements, drop-down menus, and modal dialogs cannot be operated seamlessly using keyboard navigation alone, or lack a sufficiently high-contrast visual focus indicator (WCAG 2.1 Criterion 2.1.1 & 2.4.7).
- Programmatic Labels & ARIA States: Some custom UI components do not expose their programmatic name, role, or state to assistive technologies, causing screen readers to misidentify active toggle buttons or dynamic forms (WCAG 2.1 Criterion 4.1.2).
- Heading Hierarchy Markup: Selected section headings are styled visually without proper underlying HTML heading markup (H1-H6 tags), which affects screen reader document outline navigation (WCAG 2.1 Criterion 1.3.1).
- Text Contrast in Base Themes: Certain subtle background-to-text color contrast ratios in secondary buttons or dark mode interfaces fall below the mandatory 4.5:1 ratio (WCAG 2.1 Criterion 1.4.3).
- High Magnification & Spacing Truncation: When browser text spacing or zoom levels are adjusted up to 400%, minor visual clipping or layout truncation occurs in dynamic card layouts and interactive dialogs (WCAG 2.1 Criterion 1.4.10 & 1.4.12).
- Non-Text Content & Image Alt Texts: A subset of promotional banner images or historical media assets lack comprehensive descriptive alternative text tags (WCAG 2.1 Criterion 1.1.1).
4. Accessible Alternatives & Continuous Improvement Plan
Accessible Alternatives: Where interactive digital elements present accessibility barriers, users can access equivalent core functionality through alternative channels. For example, any information or service affected by the dialog and magnification issues above is available directly from us by email at info@codfleet.com or by telephone at +358 44 926 7397.
Remediation Roadmap: We are executing a phased remediation plan to address identified barriers. Key milestones include:
- Refactoring Interactive Components: Updating ARIA roles, keyboard trapping, and focus management across all interactive modal dialogs and dropdown menus.
- Automated CI/CD Quality Gates: Integrating automated accessibility testing libraries (axe-core / Pa11y) into software contribution workflows to prevent regressions.
- Design System Accessibility Standards: Standardizing color palettes to enforce 4.5:1 contrast ratios for body text and 3:1 for interactive icons across light and dark themes.
- Staff Accessibility Training: Conducting annual accessibility training for software engineers, product designers, and content managers, following the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549.
- AI Literacy (Article 4, EU AI Act): CODFleet builds AI-assisted features, such as forecasting and planning in CODOrbis. As a provider of AI systems, we take measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among the staff who build, operate, and support them, as required by Article 4 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), in force since 2 February 2025. This includes making sure AI-assisted features are understandable and usable for people with disabilities.
